Brent has been performing live comedy and producing shows across Canada since 2013.

Part of festivals like JFL NW and Sled Island, Brent has also been featured on the Best of the West comedy compilation album from JFL NW and on OutTV.

In 2020, Brent received funding from the National Arts Council of Canada to perform a live script-reading of Bonne Homme, an intentionally awful screenplay that involves Brent directing/berating the cast for their inability to realize his brilliant “vision.”

Since 2016, Brent and Shane McLean have co-hosted the Vancouver edition of the international musical comedy show Weird Owl Karaoke, the bizarre wiki for which can be found here.
